How to update attributes for multiple objects

Learn how to bulk update multiple map objects at once

Selecting multiple objects

You can select multiple objects on the map at once to move them, delete them, copy them or change their attribute values.

To select more than one object you can either:

  • Hold the ctrl key (windows) or command key (mac) while selecting map objects
  • Use the selection tool in the toolbar on the right, then draw a polygon around the objects you want to select

You can also use these tools in combination. For example you could draw an area then add more objects using the ctrl/cmd keys.

Editing attributes

You can edit attribute values for the selected objects in the usual way. In the "Object Details" panel, edit the attributes you wish to change. The change will apply to the entire selection.

If your selection includes a mix of values you will see "Multiple" as the attribute value. You can overwrite this value to apply the change to all the selected objects.
